Moe's ugliness got him rejected for a role on the soap opera "It Never Ends". The result is Moe's pronounced New York accent. Before he had even seen a script, Azaria recorded several lines of dialogue as Moe for the episode "Some Enchanted Evening".  He also has a relationship and proposed to a dwarf named Maya, but Moe could not adjust to the difference in height, to the point where his ultimate plan to have his own leg bones shortened led Maya to leave him. She almost accepts but he keeps making inappropriate jokes about her height. This is a fab clock, its based on the simpsons moes tavern that has a minature homer popping out every hour saying his famous waa hoo, seems to be sturdy and the clock face is of a durable sticker like material which i think is ok,both hands move and you cannot hear it tick tock unless you are quite close which again i prefer, 2 hanging beer bottles which look good.
